The definition of hypnosis
A state of relaxation that the average person reaches a few times a day, mainly before falling asleep and before waking. The individual moves into a suggestible state where the appropriate suggestions are given. Then, the subconscious begins acting on these suggestions.
Anyone can be hypnotized
As long as they have the ability to concentrate. They must be willing as no one can be hypnotized against their will.
Hypnosis is medically approved
Since 1958, hypnosis has been medically recognized in the United States and Great Britain. The American Medical Association, the American Psychiatric Association and the British Medical Association all adopted hypnosis as a viable therapeutic tool. In Canada, there are currently no regulations regarding hypnosis.

This is just a guideline but 2-4 sessions minimum is where we would start:

Each one-on-one Hypnosis session is $150.00 each lasting approximately 60 mins (first time appointments may last 90mins, no additional fees)
